Generally, two sensors in the same array arranged on the tested component are used to calculate the response time difference and known distance of the same signal. The steps are as follows

1) Measure the distance L between the two sensors in advance;

2) Set the "parameter threshold" of the channel used as the determined threshold value for data acquisition, such as 50dB;

3) In the extension line of the two sensors, the pencil-lead break signal was simulated manually;

4) Check the arrival time of the maximum parameter line of "amplitude" of the signal received by the two sensors, and calculate the difference Δ T; the value of the time of arrival represents: XX hour, XX minute, XX second, XXX millisecond, XXX millisecond, XXX nanosecond.

5) The sound velocity v = L / Δ T. in the calculation of sound velocity, Δ t is taken as the average value of lead breaking of multiple simulated sources.
